Automotive Gas Oil

Automotive Gas Oil (AGO), commonly known as diesel fuel, is a refined petroleum product specifically designed for use in diesel-powered vehicles. It delivers efficient combustion, reliable performance, and optimal fuel economy across transportation sector

Product Description

Automotive Gas Oil (AGO) is a middle distillate obtained from the fractional distillation of crude oil, engineered for use in compression ignition diesel engines. Unlike petrol engines, diesel engines operate without spark ignition, relying on air compression to achieve combustion, resulting in higher thermodynamic efficiency and fuel economy.

AGO is widely used across both heavy-duty and light-duty vehicles, including trucks, buses, vans, and passenger cars. Its balanced composition ensures reliable engine performance, efficient fuel consumption, and compatibility with modern diesel engine technologies.

In addition to conventional petroleum-derived diesel, alternative fuels such as biodiesel and gas-to-liquid (GTL) diesel are emerging; however, AGO remains the most widely used and commercially available diesel fuel globally.
