Virgin Fuel Oil D6

Virgin Fuel Oil D6 is a high-viscosity residual fuel primarily used in large-scale industrial applications such as power generation and marine operations. Its cost-efficiency and availability make it a widely used fuel for heavy-duty energy requirements.

Product Description

Virgin Fuel Oil D6, also known as residual fuel oil or bunker fuel, is one of the heaviest fractions obtained from crude oil refining. It consists of long-chain hydrocarbons and residual components remaining after lighter fractions such as gasoline, diesel, and kerosene have been distilled.

Due to its high viscosity, D6 requires preheating typically between 104°C to 127°C before use to ensure proper flow and combustion. It is primarily utilized in large industrial systems where preheating infrastructure is available, such as power plants, boilers, and marine engines.

Although it contains higher sulfur content compared to lighter fuels, D6 remains a cost-effective energy source for large-scale operations, especially where fuel economy is prioritized over emission sensitivity.

Key Features

High Energy Density Fuel

Delivers substantial energy output, making it suitable for continuous, large-scale industrial operations.

Cost-Effective Bulk Fuel
